Luiza Kreuzer, DDS
Dr. Luiza Kreuzer graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Biology and Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University and later earned her Doctorate in Dental Surgery degree from VCU School of dentistry. After a successful 10 years with the Commonwealth Dentistry group she continues her passion for dental care and wellness with the launch of Kreuzer Family Dentistry.
Dr. Kreuzer’s passion for dentistry arises from her desire to inspire, teach, and motivate people and students of all ages. Elementary and Middle schools in the area have welcomed Dr. Kreuzer to educate their students about dental health or Dentistry as a career. At VCU School of Dentistry - Ask a Dentist panel, students have had the opportunity to ask Dr. Kreuzer questions related to dentistry as well as business ownership. Through Lucy Corr nursing home, she instructs and supervises dental students during their rotations with geriatric patients.
Helping those in need, particularly through dentistry, remains an important aspect of Dr. Kreuzer’s mission to serve communities both locally and abroad. With the Give Kids a Smile program she provides free dental care to underserved children in the Richmond metro area. Luiza often volunteers with the Missions of Mercy (MOM Project) providing dental services to undeserved areas in West Virginia. One of her most memorable experiences outside of the country remains The Jamaica Project where along with other VCU School of Dentistry faculty and students she provided free dental care to communities in Trelawny Parrish.
Dr. Kreuzer is actively involved as a dental advocate, ensuring the profession continues to flourish while providing patients with the highest standards of care. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Richmond Dental Society, Chair of the New Dentist Committee and a House Delegate for the Virginia Dental Association. She is an active member of American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), Richmond Dental Society (RDS), Richmond Association of Women Dentists (RAWD). Dr. Kreuzer believes in life long learning and she has completed many continuing education courses in dentistry. She looks forward to fulfilling her passion for dentistry by providing an exceptional dental care for your entire family.
When Dr. Kreuzer isn’t practicing dentistry, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, her 12 year old daughter, Julia and their lovable shih-tzu, Polly.
